Fearless Act #3: Singing in Paris

Ok, truth… I was tired. It’s my last night in Paris and I haven’t picked up my guitar since I brought it with me. I was going to pack, clean and rest before tomorrow and just chalk up the whole “singing in Paris” as something I’ll do next time. Then I remembered this challenge and the whole point is NOT to put things off for later but to do the things you want to do NOW. So, I grabbed my guitar, went downstairs where there is a small pub with two guys playing LIVE music and I asked the bartender if I could just play one song… And he said YES. Not only did I get to play and sing but I had this lovely gentleman, Cedrik play lead guitar on my song “Saving You”. Everyone was lovely and sweet and they asked me to continue but I was fine with leaving them wanting more :-). Consensus: It doesn’t matter what the response was from the audience or how I think I sounded… What matters most is I did what I said I was going to do. I honored my word to myself… And that’s always the best feeling!
